Coming back to this album years later, it's even more beautiful than I remembered. 'Self Control' is one of the most emotionally devastating songs ever written. The way Frank layers vocals, the lo-fi textures, the stream-of-consciousness lyrics — it all creates this dreamlike atmosphere. 'Nights' has the best beat switch in music history. A masterpiece.
